A Chilean-based organization with a U.S. branch in Washington D.C for which I advised and connected officially to the United Nations Department of Global Communications for partnerships and amplification of mission.
Founded in 1990 Arigatou International was the vision of the late Rev. Takeyasu Miyamoto, a Japanese Buddhist leader who dedicated his life to promoting peace. Today, its members continue to support the only global interfaith organization dedicated exclusively to protecting children’s rights and well-being. Arigatou International's four key initiatives: 1) The Global Network of Religions for Children (GNRC) 2) Ethics Education for Children 3) Prayer and Action for Children 4) Ending Child Poverty. I introduced and advised in the affiliation process to the United Nations Department of Global Communications for partnerships and amplification of mission.
ASIAN AMERICAN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER
Aims to raise the representation of Asian Americans in corporate leadership, increase the numbers of Asian American women in senior roles, and advocate for economic equity for all minority-owned small businesses. AABDC promotes allyship among
diverse communities and works to foster long-lasting, productive relationships between minority populations and corporations. I introduced and advised in the affiliation process to the United Nations Department of Global Communications for partnerships and amplification of mission. After the organization officially obtained affiliation, I trained the C-Suite leadership and staff on how to leverage the new partnership and UN additional connections, including the United Nations Global Compact.
BELLA ABZUG LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE
Founded in memory of the late US Congresswoman, BALI recognizes that their nation’s most vulnerable and marginalized populations, have, and continue to face, social and economic barriers to obtaining leadership roles. They offer leadership training with a particular focus on girls and young women as well as the LGBTQ+ community. Worked with filmmaker and documentarian Jeff Oppenheim to create a digital funding campaign to include an orientation film and a social media campaign to support the fundraising efforts.
CONCORDIA SUMMIT
Held in New York City each September, the Concordia Annual Summit is the largest and most inclusive nonpartisan global affairs forum alongside the UN General Assembly. Convening a powerful roster of cross-sector leaders, the Annual Summit fosters an international community and identifies avenues for collaboration. Produce, research and organize external media coverage and electronic press assets in conjunction with the annual gathering.
FRIENDS WITHOUT BORDERS
Friends Without A Border provides free, high-quality healthcare in areas of dire need in Southeast Asia. They promote sustainable solutions to health care in developing countries. I introduced and advised in the affiliation process to the United Nations Department of Global Communications for partnerships and amplification of mission.
GIULIO GARI FOUNDATION
Founded to continue the legacy of famed opera singer Giulio Gari by recognizing and helping the next generation of opera singers from around the globe. Through its annual International Vocal Competition and Reception, the Foundation acknowledges exceptional vocal talents by awarding them with financial support, mentorships and networking within the world of opera. To help expand capacity and build on the diversity of the board, I created the organization’s first International Committee. I Chaired the committee, advised and introduced the organization to the United Nations through the Department of Global Communications, thereby expanding the organization’s visibility, promoting their mission and competition outreach. I aligned the organization with the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals and further strategically developed new relationships through the Consulates in NYC. One successful result was the collaboration with the Korean Consulate aligned with the awarding Mr. ByeongMin Gil as First Price Winner that year. The consulate hosted a concert for Mr. ByeongMin Gil, produced in partnership with the organization to further celebrate his accomplishment.
LAFAYETTE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
Is a dynamic, multiracial, multicultural, intergenerational church that was Founded by abolitionists and continues to be at the forefront of social justice. Their vision for ministry is to live the gospel by cultivating a welcoming and supportive church home for their diverse community through their ministries of worship, music and art, social justice, Christian education and support of community organizations. Co-produce short form documentary style videos to support the Church’s “Open Doors” Capital Campaign to essentially raise funds necessary to address the urgent restoration work to maintain its structural integrity. This resulted in the project being awarded a one-million-dollar matching grant from the National Fund for Sacred Places.
NEW AMERICAN ECONOMY AND THE AMERICAN IMMIGRATION COUNCIL
A bipartisan research and advocacy organization fighting for smart federal, state, and local immigration policies that help grow our economy and create jobs for all Americans. Served to coordinate multicamera, live event coverage of the premiere three-day celebrity-driving festival that celebrates the cultural and economic contributions of immigrants to the American Economy.
NORTH AMERICA CHILEAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Founded in 1918, the North American Chilean Chamber of Commerce operating in New York City is a leading business organization fostering economic ties between the United States and Chile. Their mission is to advance, promote and assist in the expansion of bilateral trade and investment between the two countries. Connected the chamber to the United Nations through the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and the Department of Global Communications. Also, introduced the network to the Greater Chamber of Commerce which developed into a great partnership through membership. Additionally, I advised the chamber on multiple levels, including fundraising activities.ising activities.
THE OCHO
Is a nonprofit organization focused on providing information to the Hispanic community in the United States and abroad regarding social, economic, political, and cultural matters. OCHO aims to raise awareness and support the Hispanic community through its various initiatives. I introduced and advised the organization with the affiliation process to the United Nations Department of Global Communications for partnerships and amplification of mission.
PAN AMERICAN DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION
The Pan American Development Foundation is a non-governmental and non-political organization created in 1962 by the Organization of American States, the public and private sectors to focus on pressing concerns in the Western Hemisphere. As an Advisory Committee member since 2016, I have volunteered my time and services for the organization in several activities and numerous times. My lattes accomplishment was to introduce PADF to the United Nations Department of Global Communications and shepherd the organization in the affiliation process. In March of 2022, PADF was welcome as a member of the UN/DGC and has been collaborating globally ever since.
THE INTERNATIONAL WELOVEYOU FOUNDATION
Promotes unity and friendship among all people of the global village—beyond nationality, race, religion and socioeconomic status—through impactful environmental and community-centered initiatives carried out with the heart of a mother. I advised the organization on how to successfully manage their new affiliation with the United Nations Department of Global Communications and how to network and partner with other organizations inside the UN for expansion of resources and mission amplification.
